What is Take It To The Streets?
Take it to the streets is a philanthropy event where the Greek community joins together to help clean up the city. The event is put on by the Junior Greek Council and takes place at the Sigma Nu fraternity house on March 9th from 12pm to 3pm.

Community Sponsors
Take It To The Streets is different from past philanthropy events because there is a lot more community involvement. This year we are proud to have many community sponsors: the SLO Police Department, the United Way Blood Drive (will be accepting blood donations at Santa Rosa Park), the Woods Humane Society, and ASI.

Sponsors and Incentives
We also have many sponsors which have helped us provide incentives for the sorority and fraternity with the highest percentage of turnout.

Why are we putting on this event?
As a Greek community we are deeply rooted in the ideals of service and giving back to the community. This event is a great opportunity to not only give back to the community but to also increase inter-Greek relations.
